About ICAB

The Industry Council for Aboriginal Business facilitates programs furthering dialogue and relationship-building between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal businesses and communities throughout British Columbia.  We achieve this through our various themed events both locally and throughout the province based on survey feedback from members and non-members.

Our aim to assist Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal professionals to:

  • Realize economic opportunities through mutually beneficial collaboration.
  • Participate in venues and processes for networking among corporations and Aboriginal business organizations.
  • Build an enhanced respective understanding of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal business environments.
  • Provide practical “how to” information about successful joint ventures and success stories.
  • Increase Aboriginal business access to mainstream markets through activities such as promotion and mentoring.
  • Establish a broader platform for Aboriginal business development through the use of tools such as peer mentoring.
